You have to get through the darkness to get beyond it.
With these eagle rays, exploding to life from ice, the mountainside is decorated in a dance of aqua; life to be found amidst the silence. Brighter days will shine again. During the worst times, it can feel impossible to see past our rumination. It can feel so hard to look forward and appreciate the progress you have made, and have yet to make, when healing. You’re lighting your own path and doing all you can.
Alongside the thought of acknowledging “the bright side”, I wanted to tackle this feeling with an instance where the rays finally make it past this mountain.
